2Corinthians 6:16-17; [16]And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. [17]Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,

To be separated here means to resist the devil. In the world today the devil have made many people to do what is not good. This is because they did not separate themselves from the world system. The world system is of the devil. This includes pride of life, lust of eye, lust of flesh and all these are not of the father but of the devil(1John2:16). Anybody that separate his/her selves from the devil is welcome by God if he accept Jesus to be his Lord. 

There are many pressure the devil make people to pass through in the world today. This includes pressure from friends, family, peer group etc. any body that separate himself from the devil is separated from evil pressure from friends and family and others. Friends and family can make somebody to work out of the will of God if they are not of God. It is important to be separated from them.

Being separated from friends and family does not means you should not relate or go close to them but it means you should not partake in there evil ways, it means you should resist the devil that operate in them. The bible made us to understand according to the bible verse of Ephesians 6:12 it says "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places". All believer are separated from the world because we have the spirit of God in us through which we are separated from the evil spirit of the world. Enforce compliance to your separation from the world system by resisting the devil. You can resist the devil as a believer if you are spiritually conscious and alert(1Thessalonians5:19). The light of God in you shine in the darkness in the world and the secret of the devil is exposed to be resist.

Prayer point:

Thank you Lord Jesus for the grace to resist the devil through which I am separated from the evil system in the world. Devil I resist you in any area you are coming against me in the mighty name of Jesus and I command you to flee in Jesus name. Amen.

   YOU ARE STRONGER THAN YOU THINK Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.  Some believer think they have limited power of operation. But that is a lie from the pit of hell. Every believer have been equipped with power to operate unlimitedly. It is the same grace and love that is at work in every child of God God does not have favorite but his Son Jesus Christ and he have given Him to as many that believe on him (John3:16).   No believer is save more than another. The same Jesus that save a believer in childhood and saved a believer in adulthood. The same Jesus that saves in Nigeria also saves in America. We are all righteous through Jesus Christ.
